Operations and Maintenance of Facilities (OMF) is committed to meeting the needs of the University by effectively managing the operations and maintenance of the facilities under its jurisdiction to the extent resources allow. OMF strives to effectively operate the facilities so a safe, clean, comfortable and functional environment is provided to enhance discovery, learning, living and working throughout the campus community. OMF endeavors to maintain these needs by pursuing the following:

• Assurance that all OMF work is in compliance with codes and University regulations, technically appropriate, planned with total system effects and efficiently completed.

• Assistance and support for the campus-wide effort to ensure that all construction, modification and use of campus facilities is technically appropriate and provide for efficient maintenance and operation.

• Use of an efficient work order system to initiate, monitor and document pertinent aspects of work requested.
