Our services are provided to assist the USFSP community in achieving and maintaining balanced living in regards to physical, emotional, vocational and relational functioning, with an emphasis on collaboration, prevention, and wellness.

H1N1 Infuenza Announcement:
USF St. Petersburg is working in collaboration with community agencies to deal with the H1N1 influenza outbreak.  This flu remains a health concern in Florida and United States. The university community is urged to remain conscious of this flu and take common preventative measures. USFSP has set up a website dedicated to information about the flu which is updated periodically with the latest information.  For more information click here.

ALCOHOL EDU

The course aims not to preach but rather to teach the facts about alcohol and its effects on the mind and body.Whether or not you drink, AlcoholEdu for College empowers students to make well-informed decisions and provides some simple strategies to help keep you and your friends safe.

ULifeline is a program of The Jed Foundation, the nation’s leading organization working to prevent suicide and improve the mental health of college students and is overseen by an expert board of mental health professionals.  ULifeline is an anonymous, confidential, online resource center, where college students can be comfortable searching for the information they need and want regarding mental health and suicide prevention. Ping My Health

PingMyHealth Is an anonymous health risk assessment meant for young adults ages 18-30. The assessment covers six health topics – alcohol and drugs, nutrition, physical activity, mental health and smoking – and gives a personalized feedback report to users. If you are interested in learning more about yourself and healthy living, more information will be upcoming in Spring 2010.
