| The International Honor Society for Economics |
Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE), one of the worlds largest academic honor societies, has over 630 chapters located in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Egypt, France, Bulgaria, and the United Arab Emirates.
Omicron Delta Epsilon has six important objectives:
- Recognition of scholastic attainment in economics
- Recognition of outstanding achievements in economics on the part of economists at all levels
- Establishment of closer ties between students and faculty in economics within their own colleges and universities
- Establishment of closer ties between students and faculty in economics
- Publication of an official journal
- Emphasize the professional aspects of economics as a career field for service in the academic world, business, government, and international organizations

| Membership |
USF St. Petersburg has been the Pi Chapter in Florida since 2007. The minimum requirements for admission for undergraduates are:
- completion of 12 semester hours of economics courses; and
- attainment of at least a “B” average in economics courses and an overall “B” average in all classes, and a class standing in the upper one-third.
- Students do not have to be economics majors, but must have a genuine interest in economics in addition to meeting the above requirements.
