First Time in College Students

Students enjoy an orientation party by the pool.

We know that college is an exciting and challenging time for students and their families, so we have prepared a comprehensive overnight orientation program focused on creating a smooth transition to life at USF St. Petersburg. Because we want our students to be successful, we require all new students attend an orientation program.

There are many exciting things about orientation at USF St. Petersburg!  First time in college students are required to attend a Two-Day mandatory overnight session.  You will have the opportunity to stay in the residence hall and participate in events throughout the evening- all while meeting other new students and making your first connections at USF St. Petersburg!

 

The 1,2,3’s of USF St.Petersburg Orientation:

1. Orientation registration is closed. If you are a new first time in college student who has not yet registered for orientation, you must call the Office of Orientation at 727-873-4754 to discuss your options.

2. Register a parent or family member to attend our optional Family Orientation.

3. Complete and submit your Immunization Records prior to orientation so that you will be able to register for classes on the date of orientation.

4. Wait for your Orientation information letter to arrive via U.S. mail about one week after completing the online form.
