Spring 2010 Orientation Registration is Open

Orientation

College is an exciting and challenging time, and although you are already familiar with college life, USF St. Petersburg will be different from your previous college. Because we want you to be successful at your new home, we require that all new transfer students attend a transfer orientation session.

At transfer orientation, you will have the opportunity to:

Receive information about the many resources available to USFSP students
Complete university business, such as getting your USF card or attending a Student Financial Aid session
Learn how to use and navigate Blackboard and OASIS
Connect with other transfer students who will be entering USFSP
Become more familiar with USF St. Petersburg

Here are the 1,2,3’s of USF St. Petersburg
Transfer and Returning Student Orientation:

1. Choose your orientation date and time here. You will need to know your U number to complete the form. If you don't know your U number, visit the FAQ page for steps to locate your U number. If your U number does not work please visit the FAQ page for information.

2. Call Academic Advising to schedule an appointment time to register for classes at 727-873-4511. Class registration is done separate from orientation. It is recommended you meet with Advising PRIOR to orientation.

3. Complete and submit your Immunization Records prior to your Advising Appointment so that you will be able to register for classes.

4. Wait for your Orientation confirmation email to arrive about 48 hours after completing the online form.

5. Your orientation confirmation packet, including a campus map, one time use decal, and check-in instructions, will arrive 30 days prior to your orientation date.
