Regional Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Services

The Regional Vice Chancellor is the chief financial officer for USF St. Petersburg.

We, Administrative and Financial Services, will support the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and surrounding community by providing quality services in the areas of accounting, budgets, facilities operations and maintenance, facilities planning and construction, human resources, parking, police, and purchasing. We will accomplish this through the creation of collaborative partnerships with our constituents, continuous improvements of our business processes and practices, and the professional development of our divisional team members.

We will enhance the University’s academic and service programs by providing an environment that meets the needs of the students, faculty, staff, and community. We will support and assist the University’s efforts to obtain public and private resources as well as properly manage those resources in pursuit of these goals.

Through advocacy, collaborations and diverse partnerships the Division of External Affairs creates opportunities for meaningful and enduring engagement between the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and key external constituencies. The division serves USFSP through development and stewardship, strategic communications, community involvement, public affairs and special events.

The Regional Vice Chancellor is the chief student affairs and enrollment services officer for USF St. Petersburg.

The Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment Service’s first priority in meeting the needs of our students in this time of tremendous growth is to complement and support the academic mission of the University. Paramount to this priority is the Division's leadership role in creating and maintaining a university experience that promotes and celebrates student engagement in order to advance learning and improve student achievement.  Student engagement is the time and energy a student devotes to educationally sound activities inside and outside of the classroom, and is predicated on staff providing the conditions, opportunities and expectations for a student to become involved. (Kuh, 2003; Coates, 2005).
